How do i do an Avactar?

Please help me? I am new here and I haven't got the hang on everything yet. Anyway i went to my control pannel with lots of options etc and saw I could change my avatar or inh my case as i have never had one put one up. But unless I am being stupid i can't figure out how I do it. For other boards I have been on you email in a pic and they put it up as your avatar but here I hjave no idea. If anyone can help me or explain how to do it here that would be great!

As a "Kitten", i.e., new member, you have a choice of five. Go to your CP, click "Edit Avatar", and then you'll see "Pre-determined Kitten Level Avatars". Click the one you'd like, and then scroll down and click "Save Changes". The more posts you have, and the longer you're a member, the more choices you get, until you finally qualify for a custom avatar.

I'm a kitten and have 5 posts and I dont have the option to have an avatar, is there somethine else I must do?

I believe you need to have 10 posts before that option is available.

You need 5 posts and a membership that is 1 day old.
