These are the only litter choices I have

Tidy cats

Arm and Hammer

What would you choose out of these brands? Please don't say neither because this is all that's available here.

Well for me, Arm N Hammer was actually the worst litter I've ever tried - it was a sticky mess that stuck to the box and was extremely difficult to scoop for this reason, it tracked everywhere, turned my cats' paws green and had a horrid perfume-y smell - so I'd defintiely go with the other one (but then, I've never tried the other one, so I have no ideas what it's like, and I know there are some people who do like Arm N Hammer).

Are you talking about clumping litter Charcoal? I've tried the Tidy Cats Crystal Blend and right now I use the Arm N Hammer Super Scoop. I definitely think the Arm N Hammer clumps better... smells decent... and controls smells well... and I've never seen my cats have their paws turn green!

Yeah I was referring to the clumping litter. I have no choice but to get one of these. I tried the tidy cats crystal blend one and it makes Char so dusty.. So next time I will try the arm and hammer one.

Yeah, I've heard good things about Arm N Hammer from other people, too, so I'm thinking that maybe it was just the 'formula' I was using - the multicats one? Or else I just got a bad batch? I dunno...

I used A&H for Multiple cats and had the same problems as you did so I assume it's just the formula.

Back to the original post - I've tried every litter known to man and so far I've had really good success with the regular A&H formula (scented or unscented).

Wow I was thinking about looking into the multi-cats formula now that I have 2 cats... I'll definitely cross that out!

I REPULSE ARM & HAMMER! It's great for anything BUT cat litter. Im a dedicatd devoted 100% supported of Tidy Cat (the blue long lasting odor control) it clumps and it controls odor soooooooooooo well. I wont use anything else.

I just started my cats on A&H Easy Flush. It controls odors well, clumps nicely, and it flushes easily. It raises quite a bit of fine dust, which I don't mind as long as my cats use it. As I have the litterbox directly in front of the toilet, the flushability in combination with the ordinary litter price makes it a very attractive option.

I've never used Arm and Hammer, but I do use Tidy Cats Mutiple Cat Scoopable. Tidy Cats isn't the best at clumping, but it is the lowest in dust, and it does smell the best.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Sierra and I use Arm & Hammer Super Scoop and feel it's absolutely wonderful! This our favorite litter ever! Everything clumps up in a little formed clump, and each and everytime you scoop, it leaves a nice clean litter box! All you need do is add a bit of litter every few days. I completely change and thoroughly clean the box about once a month, but only because I feel I should, not because it needs it. We both definately recommend this litter!
Please let us know what you decide!
