Aby Tabbies - newest rescue

Thread Starter
I have just finished a rescue that involved a scientific lab and Abysinnian/Tabby cross kittens. I took the dad who is an Aby and 15 kittens - half of them 15 weeks old and the other half 10 weeks. Some were brown ticked like the Aby, others are mackerel, classic or spotted tabbies with the beautiful Aby face. They all have the friendly Aby personality. These kittens were not hurt and I took them so they would not be sold for another experiment. I have placed all but six - three of each age. They are AWESOME kittens and if anyone likes the personality of the Aby, the looks of the tigers and wants to have a real rescue, this is it (No Donna, no Frannie - I don't mean you). These kittens have been raised in a sterile environment - they have all their shots and are negative for all testings. They are the healthiest kittens I have ever taken in. They were scared in the beginning, not used to being in a home environment, but everyone has come around real fast. I am very proud of this rescue.

Yay Rene!

What a great rescue, you must feel incredible!

I wanna see pictures, the kittens sound beautiful! I've never been around Abby's, but I hear they have wonderful personalities.

I'm sure you'll find homes for them in no time!

Again, congrats on a job well done!

Rene - I am going to canvas the office today and see if anyone would love a kitty and give him/her a good home. I am very proud fo you for participating in this rescue.....God will smile on you for this one!!!
I don't think we are that far away from each other?

Remember Rene I'm coming for a visit in a month and if they are still there, one might come home with me. If not, I'm sure the next group will have a son or daughter for me.

I don't think I am far from upstate New York either - these babies are very sweet - you can look at all of their pictures on my website
www.listnow.com/helpingpaws

Frannie - I hope these babies will be in homes of their own before December - you get January babies.

Way to go Rene..... Last night a couple came to look at a kitten. The mom would not sign the contract because she wanted to declaw the kitten. Rene will not allow any of her adoptions to be declawed, so she sent them on thier way...child crying and screaming for the kitten and all

Yay Rene!!! Sorry to see the little girl crying, but I hope what you explained to the Mom will plant a seed in her melon; not to mention, that's one thing that little girl will remember and bank on it in the future! Yay!!

Love & Hugs!!

Way to go Rene!

She stands by her convictions and I'm proud of her for that. And I'm SURE that woman's child is making her life a living hell. Deforming a cat to save her precious furniture. Bah!!! Serves her right.
