We have 2 female indoor cats - a 14 month old and a 10 month old, and over the last week or so they've both developed these little pink bumps all around their necks. We don't see any scabs or discharge though and we haven't taken them to the vet yet. They both scratch the affected areas, but not obsessively so. Any ideas?

Fleas would be my first guess. If you have treated your cats with an over the counter product for fleas, don't- because they never work. If you are safely treating your cats with advantage or frontline that you purchased from your vet, then you could have feline acne. This is usually caused by the cats eating off of plastic bowls. It could also be a food allergy, and if both cats are suffering, it would be good to take them to a vet and let him tell you what is going on-
