Does anyone else ever...

...dream about work???

I do, regularly, and it's like, enough already!!!!

And they're always the same dream...I've either not turned up to work on a really busy clinic day and my boss doesn't know where I am, or I'm so disorganised that I don't put any of the clinic notes out for him, and then when the patients arrive I look for their notes and I can't find them (!!!) or they all arrive at once and I've got fifty people at my desk and it's just me.

AAAAARGH!!!!!

You mean nightmares about work? Usually when I'm stressed or have been working too many hours at it. I hate it!

I usually dream that the phone is constantly ringing and that I can never get the right line answered and I haven't been a receptionist for over 10 years!

I often dream about trying to get to work on time, and being held up, and trying to ring them, but the old fashioned telephone dial is crooked, so I can't figure out the right possition for the numbers.

I'm not crazy.... am I????

Same here! I dream I'm caring for so many patient's all at once and they are all crashing, sometimes that I'm at work and forget I'm supposed to be caring for the patient and something awful happens, that I'm supposed to be at work and things keep preventing me from getting there, I could go on...I wake up feeling like I worked all night long!

Yes, and I don't like it, I think I spend enough time there without going there in my sleep as well.

I used to, when I waitressed. Not so much since I have a job I like.

I always thought I should get paid extra, since I was working in my sleep.

That's when I have dreams about work. It's sad when work invades your subconcious.

When I was working 2 jobs I used to dream about being at the cash register all night. I didn't see the people, just the keyboard on the register. All night.

Lately I've been dreaming about organizing things...parties, work details, moves. I think I'm doing too many phone calls for this production trying to organize the cast!

Yes, I definitely dream about work. The job I had that happen the most with was when I worked at an oncology center. I was so stressed out - it was hard to leave work at work.

I rarely do, but Jerry sure does. He cusses at his boss in his sleep all the time.
Can you tell he hates his job???

i dream constantly, like almost nightly, that I show up late for work. I have never done so and I guess I am terrified to because a while ago my coworker found a letter from my boss to someone else that worked here firing them for being 8min late one day and 6min late a few weeks later. But I think there was more too it, but still I'm terrified.

I don't work yet.... LOL! And Oz'sMum, no, you're not crazy!

Oooh I can go in more detail about my dreams. There's a job I used to do, master control - basically you push a button to run the commercials. The shift for that job is ridiculously long, 10 hours in my case, 12 in others... with no break. So after doing that same boring job for 10 hours I'd go home... and have nightmares about it. That I couldn't find the button, that I was pushing it and it wasn't working, etc.

That being said...
When I was in high school I used to drive in rush hour traffic... ie. slamming on your break, stop and go. At night I'd come home and have nightmares about it, and about getting rear-ended. One time I had the nightmares so bad, it freaked me out... and that morning on my way to school, I got rear-ended. That was the freakiest.

Fortunately I have not dreamed of work.

On another note, I just wanted to say that Chloe is one seriously cute kitty.
