My dogs and cats are plotting against me. Koko is usually the chief cat suspect - she jumps on the counter and knocks anything that I accidentally leave laying on it onto the floor where the puppies help themselves. I listen for weird chewing noises coming from the dogs and take away anything they may have. The other day it was a sharpie marker.

Just now, my husband comes in from walking the dogs and tells me to guess what he found the dogs playing with in the yard. He knew it wasn't the usual stick as it was too flexible and thought it might have been a kill from the ferals.

No kidding, it was a pair of my underware! Not Koko this time, Dakota is the little culprit who likes to go laundry digging and carry things around the house. Socks are his favorite but once in a while he drags out something a little bit more interesting.

So: Dakota goes upstairs, helps himself to some laundry, drags it down the stairs. Dogs see item, grab it carefully so we don't see it in their mouths and carry it outside where they proceed to play tug of war.

As my husband puts it, I don't think there's any elastic left on them there drawers of yours.

Gotta love them!!

Oh my gosh! I just cracked up at your post. I can't believe they got your underwear and took it out in the yard! How funny!

You know......people who don't own pets just don't know all the fun they're missing!

SO FUNNY!!! I have a similar story... hehehe. When my dog was a puppy (she is 7 now) she used to love to wrap my mom's bras around her. One day we came home and she ran outside with it twisted around her and went running around the neighborhood... lol my mom was soo embarassed. Hehehe... it was great.

That is so true!!

My cats are conspirist(is that a word?) too! Chuckie and Milo make a good tag team destroying the new bags of dry food before I even get them out of the store bag and sometimes if I put them up in a high spot one will jump up and tear a hole in it and drop pieces down to the other!

We had a poodle when I was young that LOVED my mom's bras. The funniest time was when he dragged it into the living room when all the family was there for Thanksgiving dinner. My mom was also embarassed.

My husband claims that they all sit on the sofa at night and discuss ways to undermine us when we're not looking. Hmmmm......

I'd love to hear more "plot" stories!
