Hello! I have been surfing though a lot of posts, and not one really addressed my question.
I have a pregnant cat at home. She has a very tranquil personality. I have 2 other female cats. One is extremely active, and the other is older and is very calm. She only gets hyped up every once in awhile and when she beats up the dog.
My question is...do I need to keep them separated until Little Miss has her babies? Do you think the other 2 would hurt the kittens? I am not sure, and the vet didnt address this issue when Missy went in for her rabies shot.
Any advice helps. I would hate to have to lock up 2 of them and give Little Miss the run of the house, but I dont want them to hurt the babies, either.
Any suggestions????

I would keep your pregant one in a room all by herself. Put in several nesting boxes so that she will have a safe place to give birth. if your other females haven't been spayed, you should consider this for them.

Little Miss came to me pregnant. I didn't even know she was. My older female is spayed. Smudge is the only one who isnt and thats because the vet is backed up, and she has an appointment in March to be spayed.
I am just concerned. I have never owned a cat that was pregnant, and I already made her a box, and have her food and water near it.
