YUCK!

I don't understand the function of "naked" protests.

Why would seeing anyone naked make me:

1. Not wear fur/leather (PETA)
2. Change my diet (GMO protesters)
3. Care about this social cause or that (think: any Bay Area demonstration)

I suppose the idea is to "get people's attention." Unfortunately, it makes me think that [this cause or that] must be pretty darn weak if they can't get people to care about the underlying issue itself without resorting to the use of such shallow tactics ...

That's enough to make me want to run out and buy something "warm" to cover him up with! YUK!

The ad made me blink.
Too much ink, I think.
When melanin is crowded.

I have all ready heard of this from friends, and I think it is great. The point is that beauty is beautiful natural, not by violently killing an animal and then wearing it . I applaud what he did, and only wish I had the nerve.

I was quite suprised that Dennis Rodman would step up to the plate and do something for a cause. Whether or not we agree with PETA, I know many of us wouldn't wear fur. I always kind of thought of Rodman as a joke before. KUDOS to him for not wearing fur anymore. Even if we don't agree with his "delivery" at least he is making an effort.

My 73-year-old mother is going to love the ad, not just because she's very anti-fur, but because she loves Dennis Rodman. (Shocking, isn't it?)

WACKO!!! Related story: some PETA members have joined the Vet Tech program at my sister's school.. They refuse to work on the dogs they have there, saying it's "cruel". They work on the dummy dogs and cats while classmates work with the dogs cats and whatever else they happen to have. They on;y watch while they restrain and draw blood and give injections. These women will ultiamly have no understanding of how to working an angry cat or scared dog. I wouldn't want someone like this working with my kitten!!!

I don't have a problem with him being naked on the billboard.... I just think they could have come up with someone hotter than Dennis Rodman.... Like maybe Brad Pitt

Way to go Dennis Rodman! I wasn't too pleased when I used to see him wearing fur, but at least he's showing emotion now.

I think the ad is extremely tastefully done. While I don't agree with PETA's methods, or with most of what they preach, I applaud this ad.

Another of PETA's attempts to spread their word: one of their members offered her own personal skin with a tattoo on EBAY. she advertised it as perfectly preserved, perfect for a wallet. The money made from the auction would go to PETA. The only caveat...you had to wait till she died before you could collect your merchandise. EBAY pulled it, but only because it was a human organ being sold.
