Hi Hi,
well, I finally went out and did it, I went to a feed store and asked for chicken feed, explaining what I wanted it for. The lady asked if I wanted some multi grain stuff and I said "nope, just cracked corn", so that's what I got...a big bag with "cracked corn" on the side, for $8.50 Canadian. I haven't opened the bag yet, but there was a hole in the side and I pulled some of the stuff out. The dang thing was like a whole kernal of dried corn.
Did I get the wrong stuff, or what's going on? Also, if I did get the wrong stuff, anyone have any uses for 88lbs of cracked corn?

What are you using it for? I'm sorry but when the threads don't stay together, the meaning behind posts aren't very clear?

sorry, it's being used instead of worlds best litter. I've been told it's pretty much the same stuff. I guess sometimes my hands go before my brain when typing on forums, but I'll remember next time

No problem, but a cheaper alternative that lifts the scent is rabbit food- rabbit pellets.

Ack! 88 lbs! The chicken feed is chicken "layer" or chicken "feed", basically grounded corn. The texture is similar to the actual WBCL or Arm & Hammer's clumping litter. Since the bag is still sealed, maybe you can take the bag back and get an exchange?

Humm, good suggestion. Afterall, they can't deny that I got it from them, it does have the company name printed on the outside. Unfortunately, it's about 4 hours away from here, but since I see the honey fairly often I might bring it back up with me.
So close, yet so far....cracked corn, grounded corn....it should all be the same stuff in my opinion
