Hi again.

My new 6mo old kitty is getting along with my 10 month old very well now. They play all of the time. But over the weekend I had a friend over and now the new kitty spends all of her time under the bed. She was terrified when we had my friend over. I know it will take time for her to get used to other people. (We are only the 2nd and 3rd people she's ever met besides her foster mom
) Any suggestions on how to socialize her without suffering days of being ignored afterwords?

Also, any tips on getting cats to stop eating feet? She seems to think they are snacks and I have to sleep sometime.

Your kitten more than likely was not exposed to humans at a young age. Therefore she does not know what to make of people and will more than likely always hide when you have visitors. Or it could be that she was hurt by a human and now has an ingrained fear of them. The best way to help a cat that is hiding is to ignore her. Make sure she is healthy (of course) but other than that just ignore her. Don't peek into where she is hiding, feed her and provide water for her at the same times and same places every day, scoop her pans out at the same time(s) and she will come around in time. Don't force her, it will all come in due time
