hi all! just joined today...well i am a cat owner of an old girl named luby...i got her from my aunt's friend who rescued her from a horrible situation...the poor thing was tied up in a box with her kittens, needless to say if they hadn't taken a walk that day she would have died. sadly all her kittens died, and in the process of trying to free herself she suffered major trauma and lost some of her teeth too! my poor girl...anyway, she has come a long way since then...9 years ago, my vet thinks she is around 13, but she still is a frisky girl!
anyway, my nerves are all a jitter, the past few days i have had a stray decide that my deck is a good place to hide under...poor thing, she responds to my voice so i think she was a drop off in the neighbourhood...(we live in a small neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city), i just think she is the best thing....but unfortunately i can't get too close to her yet....been trying to find a humane trap (calling vets and a local rescue op.) can't wait to get her inside, it just makes me so sad to know she is outside in the cold....wish me well and lets hope that she makes inside and to the vets! my luby seems really interested in her! cross your fingers for me! this waiting game is killing me!
