Mods....I need your help please?

After people send me a PM I write back to them and send it but it does not show in my sent messages file or anywhere else.

So I'm not sure anyone is getting them. I haven't heard back from the people I've sent to, and I think I would've by now based on the conversation of the message.

For the record this just start happening about a week ago, it used to be ok.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cheryl... I know I'm not a Mod but I just noticed something that may help you... if you scroll down below where you enter your message there is an option that says "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items Folder".. make sure that's checked...

Cheryl when you are replying to PMs which button are you using to reply?
One is for Reply with Quote and the other is for Forwarding.
You want to be using the Reply with Quote. If you hold your mouse over both it will say which one is which.
When you forward a message you have to type in the person's name that you are sending the PM too and if you don't it won't send.
Could this be the problem? I saw that Fran and Rigel both never recieved your PMs~
Hope that makes some sense!

Thanks for this information. Unfortunately I wish I knew this ahead of time. Both messages were sooooooooooooo longggggggg.

I use and have used the Reply with Quote. It's just lately no one is receiving my messages. I'm so upset cause I put so much into them.

No Mods have answered or helped me yet!!!!

So until then, I can not send anyone PM's.

Coolcat: To your question in your PM, please tell me how that word was used in the whole sentence. There could be many definitions based on how it was used in the sentence. OK? I'll wait for your PM.

FWAN: I feel so bad you never received my PM. I wrote so much personal stuff to you. And I didn't save the message to resend, so I'll have to retype it. I'm so disappointed.

By the way Cheryl, I'd been sending you PMs last week... and a while back when you asked if I had gotten one from you (which I hadn't). Did you get those?

Do you mean the one's regarding Lacey and Juicy? If so, then yes. I have no trouble receiving PM's, I just can't send them for some reason. I did answer you though, apparently, yours was lost somewhere in cyber space too!

Yeah I never got those PMs. And also a while back you tried to send me a message a few times and PMd me and asked if i had gotten any messages, and I hadn't. And I never heard from you again...

If someone has received your pm's and then hit cancel before reading it, your PM will look like it has never been received, when in actuality it has been receieved and read. The moderators are not aware of any PM problems, so chances are it is the people you are sending to, that is hitting the wrong button by mistake.

We are short on moderators at the moment, which is why your post went so long before someone answered it. If you sent a PM, it was more than likely received. It is up to the person who received the PM whether or not to acknowledge they got it, or to answer it.

Sorry but she HAS been sending messages to me and others, I'm sure, and we just haven't been getting them. So I don't think it's stuff on the receiving end.
