My experience with cats goes back to January 5, 2005, so I'm a major newbie. I heard meowing outside my door and there was an abandoned cat standing there in the freezing rain. He had a really bad eye infection. I couldn't leave him out there, so I took him to the vet and stocked up on kitty supplies.
I've wanted a pet for quite a while. Since he showed up not long after Christmas, I considered him a present from God. So I named him Angel. Plus his coloring reminds me of angel food cake. He is a beautiful ginger and white kitty with Amber eyes
.
After fighting the eye infection for almost a month, it looks like it is finally gone. Angel's fur is very soft now and he looks healthy. He is a sweet and gentle kitty, but not very playful. I hope that will change over time as he recovers from whatever he went through before I found him (or he found me).
