help with ma new cat sammy

can yu help me.
i have aquestion, how can i get her to respond to her new name as i did not know her old one. ho can i get her to respond better by her new name?

I found that just repeating it at every opportunity works over time. I'd say entice her with some treats, but then you don't want her running to you expecting treats everytime you call. There are some cats that learn their name quickly and are just too stubborn to come when you call for them I think that if you especially call her name at feeding time that should help, though.

I got Ox when he was 2 yrs old and he had a really icky name-I don't remember how I reinforced his name but he responded quite well as he still is alive and kicking at age 16!!
