Kotton is a Heroine

Today I took Benji out on a leash and allowed Kotton to be free - out front. I no sooner settled down to read, while Ben went here and there, when suddenly there was a big commotion. A big Pit bull from across the street decided to chase my cats (VERY GLAD THAT IS ALL HE WANTED TO DO!!!! )! Ben skittered up a tree But my Siamese girl Kotton STOOD HER GROUND! The dog came over to her to see why she did not run and she whacked him on the nose! He was the most surprized dog! AND embarressed as well. He gave a sneeze and looked at me VERY reproachfully and went back home! Soon Kotton's fur went down and she came over to me to make sure I was OK. Then when Ben finally came down from the tree she ran over to him too! I guess she was telling him off for not running into the house!

She is truly my Heroine and is loving being told so! Only problem is she is bossier than ever! LOL! I am just SOOOOOO proud of this girl!

KOTTON!

My dog always wanted to play with my neighbor's cat Maui. Maui would hiss making Pebbles second guess herself, but Grabble, a bichon frise, would tackle Maui anyway sending her running home. (Maui and Grabble are house mates) It was funny to see the two interact. Maui doesn't like Grabble too much

Kotton, you brave, brave girl! What a little warrior she is!

She is so cute! She was so proud of herself, and the more I praised her the more she strutted. To think she actually came over to ME and checked me out to make sure I was OK! It is mind boggling!

She was so sick right after Thanksgiving and I doted on her and we have become quite close since, BUT the problem with THAT is NOW she goes after my other 2 girls who are much weaker than she is!

I can still see the look on the dog's face as it turned and left - sort of like "You and your stupid cats!!!!!" LOL! I have a feeling it was a nice dog, but don't tell Kotti that! She WAS really brave and I am so proud of her!
