Hello!

I am always in search of safe, entertaining toys for my own serval Sirocco, as well as to reccomend to other exotic cat owners through my websites. Does anyone here offer a toy they think might be suitable?

For those unfamiliar with servals, here are some facts:

They have sharp cat teeth in a larger jaw than domestics (servals are 18-45 lbs), so while rubber Kong-type toys designed for dogs work for a little while, they actually do chew them into bits.

Servals are infamous for ingesting things and swallowing them, causing intestinal blockages. Sirocco had to have surgery after literally eating chunks of a hard rubber dog toy.

Servals love catnip.

Servals love things that give when bitten.

Basically, a serval toy has to either be nearly indestructable, or harmless when eaten, or at least something you can see wear on and replace before it gets torn up and eaten.

Bumping this up so maybe Charmsdad, Amber the Bobcat or Spotz can help. You may try PM'ing one of them. I know John (Amber the Bobcat) has 2 bobcats at home so he may have some ideas. Charmsdad and Spotz also work with exotics.

Sorry if I missed anyone else with exotics.
