Only answers that can be answered by a yes or no are permitted. If you've heard this one, don't answer and spoil it!

A MAN IS FOUND DEAD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT. HOW DID HE DIE?

This one is tougher than the rest, and in this case you have to get the whole story in order for the riddle to be truly solved (unlike the bicycles one, for instance, where once you'd guessed it was a murder at a card game, the details of the murder were unimportant). Now watch, after I've just said it's hard, someone will get it before we even get to page two!!

Did he die as a result of being in the desert?

Is blood found on the scene?

Is the death a result of an accident?

No, he didn't die as a result of being in the desert.

Yes, perhaps a small amount.

Did he die by running into a cactus?

Was he murdered?

Was it suicide?

Was there some object that killed him?

Did he die of heat exhaustion?

Was the desert a real desert? As in, was it like the Sahara, or something like that?

Morning (for me)! Before I head off to work (in the rain . . . sigh) I thought I'd check and answer questions.

NO, goofball, he did not die by running into a cactus

Yes, in a way he was murdered.

No, it was not suicide.

No, there was no object that killed him (nice job eliminated lots of possibilities with a general question, by the way
)

No, he did not die of heat exhaustion.

Yes, the desert was a real desert.

No physical trauma wounds before death, but yes physical trauma when he died.
