This isnt something that has ever really been a issue for her. I am sure it does not harm her vision any. Nor does my vet think either. I was just wondering if any of you know what it is. The scratch on her right eye.

I am pretty sure i know how it happened. and when she was quite a bit younger she got into a spat with another cat and he smacked her on the face, her eye watered a bit and she didnt wanna open it for a while. After that this started showing up in pictures...and when the light catched her eyes..

What you are seeing is NOT normal, and could be a variety of serious eye problems. If your vet has decided not to persue it further, I would contact a veterinary opthamologist.

I would get a second opinion from another vet. Its better to be safe than sorry later.

personally I would have that looked at by another vet....just to be sure...I mean, something that dramatic warrants a second opinion in my book. I hope it turns out to be harmless!!

We went into another one this morning. She said it was a scratch that doesnt appear to be affecting her at all. Did all sorts of stuff with her eyes. But just to be safe We contacted a kittie eye doctor. Shes had this now for sometime, and i have had it looked at by several vets, none have seemed overly concerened. But have always said if it changes let us know. Thanks everyone for the thoughts to back me up on taking her in again.
