Blood in stools??

Is the cause for blood in soft stools a bacterial infection? I went to clean the litter box tonight and Pringles was in there and so I stood there waiting on him and noticed before he covered it up that it was mushy and bloody......

I have had a topic on Behavior board about Cheetos elminating out of the box and now I am thinking maybe it was actually Pringles........

I just assumed it was Cheetos cause we just got him not to long ago but after seeing the bloody stools from Pringles maybe he was just trying to tell me something???

Bloody stools can indicate a host of things, among them giardia and coccidia. No matter what it COULD be, it warrants a visit to the vet.

Oh yes he is going to the vet alright! I just saw this last night so was just trying to get any ideas before taking him. Oh my vet knows us well! I think I know our vet better than my little boys Dr! lol

I love your kitties' names. Cheetos and Pringles! So fabulous.
Good luck and my best wishes go with Pringles as he heads to the vet.
