My cat, Billy, loves to eat olives. He first discovered them by digging out the trash!
Anyway, at the holidays, we normally have olives, and Billy will get up into them after we are all finished. He loves them! He eats the pimento and every thing! Of course, he loves them, but they hate him. He has the farts all day
, and diarreha for a couple
of days!

So... what's the weirdest thing your cat loves to eat???

I grew up with one who loved corn on the cob. We would wake up in the morning and find the cob on the floor and blame the dogs till one day we caught him.

plastic bags and string! I have to really be careful in what I see laying around. And the black kitties will eat ANYTHING you leave out on the counter.

I thought applesauce was weird at first until I got a cat that goes completely insane over saltines. You break a little piece off and she loves them even tho I know its for the salt. She also will knock you down for a McD's french fry. I once had a cat who flipped open a pizza box, threw a slice on the floor and dragged it by the crust across to the corner and ate a mushroom off! Does that count? LOL We were laughing too hard to be mad.

Oh thank goodness my boys aren't into human food!!! Infact, we've made a point of not giving them any
About the funniest eating them for them is when I give them raw chicken wings as a treat and they go all "feral", they growl at them, bat at them, and throw them up into the air and against the walls! (I guess making sure it's "dead")

Wallace doesn't swallow these things but he absolutely loves to chew cardboard, paper and wood. He chews and spits out the pieces and gets this nice little pile.
Unfortunately, he has left his mark on some furniture.
He
loves cheese and crackers, goes bonkers over that. Marcellus wouldn't touch human food
with a 10 foot pole, not even meat. He just sniffs and walks away. He just loves his dry kitty food. Now, Lewis will eat anything....one day I caught him licking BBQ sauce. Nothing can be left out if he's up. I didn't give him human food either....he just came this way.
One funny story to tell...this wasn't my cat but but my best friends cat. Their cat loves food of all sorts and one day, one of their teens left out a bowl of refried beans and salsa and their cat ate the whole bowl which they didn't discover 'til later. They said the cat box had the biggest poops they could ever imagine!!!
I was in hysterics when she told me this. Needless to say, they make sure to put the refrieds away.

That is too funny! I don't know who to feel worse for, the kitty or the humans! My black kitties were found by a dumpster so that accounts for their appetite for everything. Just this morning I was having some applesauce and forgot to throw away the aluminum lid. I only remembered it was out when I heard it being licked, dragged across the counter!

Not to ruin the jovial mood or anything, but you do know that chocolate is VERY DEADLY to a cat, don't you?

Why is chocolate deadly to a cat? I've never heard that before. Not that I've ever given any of my girls chocolate but I just wondered.

Scratchy likes to eat cockroaches. Its disgusting and I have caught and taken so many off her. She just plays with everything else but she eats those. Lucky they're only the brown ones from the garden, cos they're not toxic like the black ones. But it's still bad for her and I dread to think how many she's got when I haven't been around to stop her.

Sunday eats lettuce.

Cairo won't eat anything but her cat biscuits. She LOVES them!

Although, they all do love cheese but I think that's a pretty common thing for cats?

Ruth loves the anise cookies I made for Christmas.
She also looooves crickets. Especially the little ones. Kitty Bear likes fruit, especially orange juice and pears.

Don't worry, I don't feed him the chocolate chip cookies. I only know that he likes them because when I first let him roam around the house, he stole them in the middle of the night. My other cat doesn't usually get on the counters, so I didn't think to put the container in the cupboard. I found the evidence, in the form of crumbs, the next morning. I have been extra careful with open containers ever since.
