My cat, Billy, is getting neutered on Tuesday. However, I don't know if he'll live until Tuesday!
He has been peeing everywhere, meowing constantly, and has been aggressive. Please pray for me... and my family... give us the strength to deal with him until Tuesday!
Today, he was sitting in front of me, and I turned my, and then turned back, and he peed on me!
He sprayed me! EWW! Talk about gross!
Anyway... pray for me... so I can have strength not to strangle my cat!
Just kidding!

Yes, lots of prayers headed your way! I'm glad that you have a target day to aim for. But peeing on you - that's a little extreme, Billy!

Exactly! That's why he's getting put up in a room until Tuesday!

unfortunately sometimes after the spraying has started nuetering doesn't fix it. I had this problem with my male cat who had a retained testicle, he was a year and a half and 3 surgery's later when we found it, but he had already started spraying. I found the Feliway helped with that. good luck.

I've heard of Feli-way, but I was skeptical.... does it really do all it says it does?

I'd rather settle for him rubbing up against me, thank-you very much!

Cassie,
Give Feliway a shot. I have a female who used to be anxious all of the time, but Feliway did wonders to de-stress her when I moved. Granted, it did not involve a spraying problem, but if Feliway can do such wonders on my girl, it can hopefully help your cat!

I have had some good luck with the Feliway, I was skeptical at first too. I bought one diffuser to start with then decided I liked what it was doing and bought 2 more to cover the house.

How long do you have to use it? And, how often?

I only used it for a month (that is how long it lasts) and the spraying stopped. I have recently bought another month's worth because of other behavioral problems. Each cat is different though, and it depends on how set he is in the behavior.

Thank-you all so very much for your advice! I will give the Feli-way a try if the spraying persist. Once again, thank-you!!!

So very unfortunately, I must tell you all some bad news. A few weeks ago, Billy attacked me. I decided to give him a second chance. Well, he took that second chance and threw it in the trash. He attacked my mother this time, and he no longer resides in my house. We brought him to the local shelter, and told them he needed a farm with some mice to pounce on. They assured us that he would find a home.
