I'm so excited, this is my 2nd child!!! My first is 4 years old already!
He grew up too quick! I've wanted this for a very long time now and my prayers have finally been answered!

We started trying in July of 2003 when I ended up in the hospital with life threatening blood clot so had to put it on hold until now.
But I'm on my way with a growing family (and belly)

I really would like to have a little girl since we already have a son but I'll take either one as long as they are healthy and beautiful!

I'm just can't sit still! Or quit smiling! I'm telling my parents and FIL in 2 weeks - I don't know if I can keep it secret that long! We want to take them out to eat and my FIL's next weekend off isn't for another 2 weeks. I'm really going to try to not blow the surprise but I had to get this out!

I'll be a very high risk pregnancy due to the history of clots so I'll need some prayers please! I'll be seeing 3 doctors during this time. I just pray everything goes great for us!

Congratulations! That is wonderful news. How far along are you? I am due this weekend and know exactly how you feel about wanting the baby so badly - we tried for 5 years before fertility treatments works. I hope your blood clots don't interfere with the pregnancy. I will keep you in my prayers!

I wish you the best, at least the doctors are in the know about you, and will be monitoring you closely! Get a lap top you'll need it once you hit the bed for long bed rests! Congrats!

And Ady how wonderful that you are so close now! I will keep you in my prayers as well

According to my calculations, I'm only about 3 weeks along. I wish you luck with your delivery. It's the most wonderful feeling in the world!

Hissy, I do have a lap top - I"m on top of the game!!

Thank you both!

Thank you!! I don't think that I'm going to find out the sex of the baby. I didn't for my oldest. I kinda like the suspense. It gives me something to wonder about while I'm in all the pain and agony of labor!
For my first on, when I was about 5 months along I had a feeling it was a boy and sure enough....boy he was! I'm hoping to get a vibe again and see if I'm right!

For a girl, I like ANNA MICHAEL or ANNA MATIA (ma-tay-a)my grandfather's name.

For a boy, I like LELAND, MAXWELL, LUKE and PARKER
I like "old" proper names.

What do you guys think?

My oldest is GRAHAM ALEXANDER and he goes by GRAHAM.

Graham was my grandfathers middle name and my father was a JR. My grandfather went by Graham and my father goes by his first name LELAND.
My FIL's middle name is ALEXANDER which is is mother's maiden name.
Hope that's not too confusing!

I like Duncan & Gwenivere too!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Congratulations!

I'm so excited for you! Please do keep us updated as your pregnancy progresses, and we'd really enjoying hearing the reactions of your parents and FIL!
I'm thankful you're being monitored so carefully, you will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers as we plan for your perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby!

I will keep you posted. I can tell you now that I know my parents won't be too excited at first. I just went back to college to finish my degree and they are so big on education. They are going to see this as another set back in my education but they'll get over it after a month or 2. I'm kinda nervous about telling them.
My FIL will be so excited and sad at that same time. We just lost my MIL to cancer in Oct. so I know he'll feel a little sad about her not knowing her grandchild.

But I will keep you posted on their reaction - I'm hoping my parents will be more excited than I think they will be in the beginnng.

Thanks for the prayers!

Does your little boy know that you've been trying for a baby? Do you think he'll be excited about the arrival of another little playmate?
