Hope your auditions go great! My daughter is in marching band in high school and absolutely loves it. Hopefully she can continue in college.

We love to burn couches!!!! hahah but the city went nut s3 years ago when we beat Virginia Tech. Some one even broke into the stadium to take down the goal posts!!
that was after a radio announcer suggested it....
!!!!!
I'm in the process of applying for grad school with the history dept, here at WVU.
I know it might look kind of bad going to the same school for both undergrad and grad schools, but I LOVE this campus
, and the what it means to be a Mountaineer. and I HATE moving!!
You can march with the band as a grad student, if you want, but that's not what is keeping me here. As long as you are enrolled here at WVU and are a full time student, you can march. If you ever have the chance do it. regardless of the school you're at. Joining the marching band is the best thing I ever could of done. I have made soo many friends in the past 4 years and it made the transition from high school to college a lot easier.

did you ever see the difference between in state and out of state tuition? The reason I haven't enrolled yet is because it just is weird that west virginia is maybe 5 minutes away and I'm 'out of state'. I mean I would drive from PA I wouldn't move or anything, that is just so crazy to me. But the out of state is still cheaper than pitt

That's the great thing about WVU. Tution is low, and you are getting a great education. That's mostly b/c they have to compete with Marshall University. They are really cheep and attract mostly Huntington, and Charleston area students. (from what I've hard) WVU has students from nearly every state and 150 countries. The tution cost it was attracted me to WVU inthe first place. I was looking at Clarion University of PA and Edinboro University of PA too. The tutions are about the same. and if I went to Edinboro I would of had to stay home.... I really didn't want that.
