Hi all. I'm new here and a new mommy. I adopted Toby on Sunday, he's just over 8 weeks.
I'm so lucky to have found him!! My little brother and I always talk about finding your "soul-kitty" (the kitten who is purrfect for you, and you for it) - and I think I've found him.
I was really worried at first because I only want one cat - and so many people tell me that it's mean not to get two. I am home quite a bit more then other people because I'm a student in a unique program, but I am by no means home all the time... but he's doing magnificently!!!! He doesn't mind it when I leave, and he greets me at the door to shower me with snuggles when I get home. Then we play until he's at that ragdoll-cuddly stage where he just falls asleep in the crook of my neck.
We're still ironing out our differences about which areas of my apartment are for scratching... and last night at 3 am he discovered my earlobes... but past that he's purrfect!!
I'd love to post a picture if someone can explain how...
