British Shorthair cat. About how much do you think I would have to pay for one? I just got a 1 bdrm. apt. and we can have cats so this would be my first personal cat. I was looking at the different breeds and the british shorthaired cats look so adorable I have to have one. Thank you for your time.

I realize you have done your research, but have you thought about visiting a shelter? There are many many beautiful, loving, exceptional cats in need of a home... Just a thought

I have a friend that adopted a BSH from a shelter. The owners were allergic, and did not figure it out until they had already bought the cat. He is a great little guy.
Have you maybe looked at a BSH rescue? Not to discourage you from getting what you want, but it might cost you less, and save a great cat from a shelter.
