We have a mixture of sun AND clouds all through the area today, so wonder what that means.....?

Does anyone know if he saw his shadow?
What a cute little graphic Tricia! And yes, he saw his shadow... again! I think it was the 94th time he's seen it!

Well, it kind of depends on where you live whether or not you will have a quick spring or not:-)
If you live in Ontario Canada, Wiarton Willy did not see his shadow, so look for an early Spring
If you live in Georgia, General Beauregard did not see his shadow, so we can expect an early spring;
However, if you live on the East Coast, Punxatony Phil did see his shadow, so you guys will get at least 6 more weeks of winter.

Actually, today is the anniversary of my first date with my husband (although he obviously wasn't my husband THEN). He showed up on my doorstep as I was getting ready to go to my late night Physics lab (which I actually enjoyed, even though I generally despise math). He asked me if I wanted to celebrate groundhog's day with him, and I said, after a short pause "Is that today . . . ?". I met him after lab was over and the rest is history.
By the way . . . groundhog's day never made much sense to me. If he doesn't see his shadow it means they'd either have to check smack dab at noon, or it's cloudy that day. How does the fact that it's a cloudy day mean that Spring will be early????? You'd think it would mean there was more stormy weather on the way!
