Puerto Rico... land of rice and beans.
She was spayed yesterday... we left her early in the morning, and that night we picked her up at the vet again. She is all fine and alright. I will have to take her next week on Wednesday to have the stitches removed.
In the meantime I have to give her a prescription anti biotic to prevent any possible infection from the stitches.

She looks almost skeletical today, now that she's no longer pregnant. I never thought she was actually that skinny.... And all that despite the incredible amounts of food she's been eating in the past week since we trapped her.

But so far, so good!

Hi Victor-
I'm very glad to hear that the spay went well and Luna is recuperating.

Most of the vets in my area use dissolvable sutures so it's not necessary to bring the kitty back to have them removed.

Hope you'll have success with getting her to take her meds - I'm sure you know that it's important for Luna to take all of the antibiotics.

How's her behavior? Are you able to pet her?

Please let us know how she's doing.
