I will be getting a male, purebred Persian thursday morning who is in need of a new home. His name is Pee-Wee. He developed a "rash" around its neck and from what I understand, the original owner never took him to the vet and doesn't want to deal with it. I am thinking it may be an allergy to either flea meds or else to flea bites themselves. I will have him looked at when I pick him up.

I have not seen this cat yet but apparently he is very healthy otherwise and well-behaved. He is 6 years old, extremely flat faced and is not declawed. If anyone around the area of Clevelad or Akron Ohio is interested, I pretty much live in between the two cities. As long as it is someone that will give him a good home for the rest of his life and not declaw him please.

I also will be picking up a purebred Pixiebob. I don't much about Pixiebobs but she is 3 years old and healthy according to the original owners. They just simply don't want her anymore due to illness in the family. Her name is Miss Kitty I believe.

I also have a 5-6 month old kitten named Da-Ku (the japanese word for dark). He is unbelievely sweet and cuddly. I have never had a kitten this sweet before. He cuddles into my neck or chest while I am sleeping and rests his head on my shoulder. I have had him since he was about 12 weeks. He was free from a pet shop when you buy any cat supplies so I couldn't turn him down (I know I am a sucker). Anyways, he had worms really bad at first and that is now cleared up. He basically litterbox trained himself, I never even showed him where the box is and he has never had an accident. He is nervous around new cats but adjusted extremely well to my other 3. I was originally planning to find him a new home right away and put up a sign at the store here. No one responded and I am getting attached to him. He really needs a new home and plus he has a really cool name! He is a purr machine with the loudest purr I have ever heard.

Please email me or reply if anyone at all is interested.

I forgot to mention that they are all spayed/neutered and I believe they are UTD on shots.

Well nevermind about the persian. Poor little boy had ringworm really bad and we decided to euthanize him since no one is really capable of treating him in a shelter environment without infecting other cats or themselves. He had it all over his face and neck and on his lips too. We are really incapable of dealing with something like this at the shelter especially since it can linger in the atmosphere and is can be contagious for 3 weeks. Persians are a more common breed to have ringworm and even when he is cured he could become a carrier and maybe get it again later on. Most people would probably not want to adopt a cat knowing he has/is carrying ringworm. So ya, it's been a pretty crappy day. But the Pixiebob is still looking for a home as well as the kitten.
