OK, Jordan found a new way to entertain himself while I'm away & this has to be one of the most annoying. I came home Sunday to find my freezer door standing wide open.
So my question is how do I cat proof it?

Block the door with something heavy so he can't open it

They do have fridge and freezer latches to child-proof those, that should work for your Kitties too

My sister had that problem - she got huge belts from a moving company to hold the refrigerator and freezer doors closed. As I remember it, she asked to buy some, and the company was so tickled at the idea of a cat "raiding" the freezer and fridge that they just gave them to her.

Also if your freezer in on top of your fridge tie the door handles together - he can't get enough leverage to open both - trust me Loki opend the Fridge door when I first got him. Inventive little buggers aren't they *LOL**

Oh believe me I was less than happy, I had the momentary thought of "I wonder if my sister would want a free cat?" He's just so smart, that he finds these crazy ways to entertain himself.

Good thing I have a chest freezer-I would be REALLY impressed if any of the cats would open that!!! I did repaint a small bathroom last week and we removed the toilet and Bakker thought the pipe that connects to the toilet was his personal water fountain-we must have had a small leak.
