Hello, its nice to meet all of you I stumbled across this website looking for more info on kitties, as I am getting married soon and moving out west, and am trying to decide what kind of kitty me and my fiance would like to get If anyone has info on cats that do not cause allergic reactions (other than Sphynx) please let me know

The kitty I have now is named Neko (Japanese for "Cat"). Shes calico/tiger striped, I'll need to get a picture of her. Sadly, I'll have to leave her with my parents when I move, as I don't think moving her across the country would be good for her She adores my dad, and it would break my heart to take her away.

Hi welcome to TCS! I dont know about the kind of cats your looking for... but good luck finding one!! I'm sorry you have to leave your kitty with your parents... but i am sure you dad will take wonderful care of her
Congratulations on getting married!! Where out west are you moving??

The Kansas City area (I live in Illinois right now, so its out west to me ), I've been researching catteries in/around that area. If finding a cat to buy doesn't work out, I may check out the local shelters and see if theres a kitty there that needs rescued.
