O.K. I confess:

I don't eat at the kitchen or dining room table. We eat in front of the TV in the family room and have for years.

I am one of those annoying people at the store or grocery that will sing along with a good song that they are piping in over the store speakers. I really dont' care if you hear me or not (It's not like I sing loud or something) Tonight I was in the grocery singing a great Sting song ("Sister Moon" for those who know it
)

It's your turn now..... I know I'm not the only one!!! What do you do?

I'm one of those people that insist we eat at the table as a family.

The only time I ever got angry about someone singing along was when I paid big bucks to see Roger Whittaker and the "lady" in the seat behind me sang along to every song he did. I was positively livid! I absolutely did not pay to hear her sing.

Something similar happened to me before. I went to see Johnny Winter and got there early so I could be up front. (was general admission - no seats) About half way through the show two loud and obnoxious (and very drunk) women pushed their way through everyone and started screaming and throwing their hands in the air. This was a more serious show I guess you could say.. he's an eldery man and it was just him and his guitar up on stage so everyone was quietly paying attention.

But when I said something they got all offended! Someone actually had to hold them back because they got so mad at me asking them politely to stop so I could enjoy the show. I'm 19 and they were about in their 40s... and I actually heard them talking about waiting for me outside after the show!! Pathetic!!

Thank god security escorted them outside.

we eat in front of the TV most nights....and I am not really sure how it happened...

but funny enough tonight I insisted that we sit at the table...I guess that I sensed your post

what do I do....

sometimes if I am in a store and I am carrying something around and I decide not to get it I just hide it around where I am instead of walking it back to the right place!!!!!

(I know, its really bad of me and the years that I worked retail I cursed all of those people, but working the retail jobs just made me worse!!)

So YOU'RE the one!

I'm so anal about that. I mean, if it's clear across the store I won't put it away when I see it, but especially in the clothing racks when the proper rack is RIGHT NEXT to where someone left it, I will put it in the right place. And I almost always return stuff to where they belong in the store. (And I will walk to the other end of the store to do that.) Funny thing is...I never even worked retail!

Um, we "find" the dining room table all of twice a year - Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other than that, it's buried and we eat either on the couch or at our computer desks.

I don't have a dining room table, so I have to eat in front of my TV - which can be annoying when you're trying to eat and cats are climbing all over you trying to get to YOUR dinner.

I'm one of those annoying people who will have all my windows down in my car in the spring and summer and will have my radio blaring so you HAVE to listen to my music. MUAHAHAHAHAHAA....

I confess to putting on clothes in the morning and then changing because for whatever reason I think that I look fat in that particular outfit.

A group of 10 drunk girls in their 20s singing along to every single Eagles song as loud as possible when we went to see them annoyed me a lot!

and my dining table is pretty much used for anything BUT food! I had to dust the seats of the chairs last week. We're bad, we know.

Chris...it's no wonder I like you so much......we're so much alike!

Yes I always sing in the grocery store.....and yes I eat on the sofa or on my bed or at my computer desk. I guess I'm a terrible mom for not making sure we always eat at the table.

I'm also bad about putting merchandise back in the wrong place if I decide not to get it.

Since I'm single.....I like to look in the carts of cute men and see if I can guess whether or not they are single too.
It's really easy to tell. If they have things like diapers, a lot of items that go into foods, (spices, fresh veggies, canned milk, etc) and jumbo packs of anything, (toilet paper, etc)...you can safely assume they are probably married.
I look for the poor souls who have their carts filled with pizza, frozen dinners, and the single roll of toilet paper.

As your friend, I must tell you.... You know what they say about assuming....

Really that's a great confession, though. I've been married forever so I wouldn't think about people scoping out each other's carts to decide their marital status.
That's priceless

I confess that I watch more than a few reality TV shows and thoroughly enjoy them: The Apprentice, Survivor, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, The Amazing Race, and Wickedly Perfect.

I confess that I'm one of those people who often thinks I will write a letter to customer service complaining about the rudeness of the cashier or the dirtiness of the store (and sometimes I actually do)!

I confess that I will wear the same pair of socks two days in a row if they aren't too stinky.

Can't think of anything else right now but this is fun!! Great idea for a thread!

I stare a people's body parts on the subway and bus. I usually pick one part to stare at...some days it will be nose day, some days ear day etc. I'm a writing major, so I like to think it's good practice learning how to describe body parts. I love noses...the bigger the better. For example I adore Liam Neeson's nose, it's very aristocratic and bold! So for you New Yorkers on here..watch out. If you see a 48, year old white woman with reddish hair and green eyes...it's probably just me body snooping!

Okay here's # 2. I purposely waited a few minutes before I came back to edit, so the little tag that states "Last edited at" or whatever it really says would pop up. I found out if you go to edit within a minute or two of posting, the edit tag won't show up. Anytime I see a typo or a misspelled word..I MUST FIX IT! The Cat Site would be perfect if it had a SPELL CHECK...come on Anne, how about it?

haha, that's me too Colleen! I can't keep up anymore though.
Did you see The Biggest Loser? That's my new fav.

I am also one of those people who likes to 'hide the merchandise' but my boyfriend Brendan thinks that is a no no, so if I won't put it back he'll sigh real big and take it back to where it belongs himself.

Ok, funny story about the first thing... yesterday I'm eating a salad while sitting at my computer because I NEVER eat anywhere but in front of my computer and Malakai was standing on the top of my desk by the monitor (I have a roll top desk with a ledge)... so he's standing on the ledge... he lost his balance and fell into my bowl of salad!!! The bowl flipped up in the air and was everywhere! salad dressing all of him and me and I was picking up onion and lettuce on the other side of the room!! All I could say was "Thanks Kai! Do I jump in your dish while you're trying to eat?????"
Tonight he was standing up there while I was eating a bowl of soup and I was like "if you land in my soup, I'm gonna kill you!'

I do that with my music too... especially in neighborhoods where I know they wont appreciate me blaring spanish reggae... I get some really nasty looks and I just laugh at people LoL

Oh, and I confess, the first thing I do when I get out of bed is check my computer for IM's... and I always get this cheesy grin when Adrian calls

That's all I can think of for now...

We eat in front of the TV. Probably because we didn't have chairs for the table for the first 6 months.

I don't return merchandise to it's proper place.

I pay for everything with a check card. Even 45 cent Sheetz cookies.

My dishes pile up for 3 or 4 days before I do them.

I sing along at Punk concerts. Sorry, guys, I just can't help myself. Besides, you can't really hear me over the guitars and bass.
