New Pictures of Mr. Big!

I swear this guy knows how to tell time! It's so funny how he shows up every night at 5:00pm for his dinner. He's beginning to get SO affectionate and more trusting of us. He will now let my oldest daughter pet him too and he even comes all the way up to the backdoor while he's waiting for me to get his dinner ready.

Tonight, I had Jamie get the camera and take some pictures while I was feeding the big guy. He was so funny.....he was rubbing all over me so much that I was barely able to get his dinner in the bowl and he was about to knock me over! My daughter has now fallen in love with him too.

How much does he weigh? he's a BEAUTY!

He's huge.....my guess would be that he's about 25 pounds or more. He's a lot bigger than Leo and Leo weighs 20 pounds.

I forgot to add........you guys don't look at me....look at the CAT! I was off work today and look like a total bum! (my hair looks like a mess)

Oh, he's adorable! I love his expression in the first pic!

I used to see that same expression when I lived in New York and the news cameras would break in on some shady back-room.

That look usually preceded the camera getting broken. ;-)

and I'm not sure that's a cat... maybe a Retriever mix of some kind? ;-)

His eyes are sky blue.....believe it or not! I have never seen a full grown orange tabby cat with light blue eyes! He's really unique looking.

I thought they were! Wow they're gorgeous... *I* want him!

There's just no way.....five cats is almost too many in this small house. I thought about it tonight....how he is really beginning to trust me...and I think the time is coming close when I will be able to pick him up and put him in a carrier to take him to Happy Tails. I will really miss him. I've gotten to where I look forward to his nightly visits. But it's just not safe for him. I live near a very busy road and I'm so afraid that he'll get run over. Plus, he's obviously getting into fights......I noticed just tonight that his nose is all scratched up...which is new. And I'm not sure a cat like him....who's used to being able to roam...would adapt very well to living in a confined space with 5 other cats.

I know the people at Happy Tails since I've fostered for them before and they are wonderful people. I know that if they weren't able to find him a home.....they would let him live there....which is cat heaven! He's such a loving guy that I think he deserves so much better than what his life has become....and I'm going to see to it that he gets a better life.

By the way......if any of you here would be interested in taking Mr. Big into your home......let me know. I'd be willing to take him to my vet and get his shots and get him fixed and I would even bring him to you! (or meet you half-way)

He's a total sweetheart and based on what I've seen of him.....he would make someone a wonderful pet. He's very affectionate and obviously very smart since he can tell time!

And look at the difference NOW! He's a real lover boy! He actually looks like he's smilling here!
