Urine Samples?

Probably a bad time to ask this question now, but I may jag a response!!!

I have to take in samples for my boys to the vet just to get them checked out to make sure there's no UTI (we've had a few inappropriate peeing issues).

I got the samples this morning, but won't be able to get them into the vet until later this afternoon - will this matter?

Is there like a "time limit" that the vet would need them by???

Put them in the fridge, to the best of my understanding at least.

As it turns out, both boys obliged with fresh samples when I got home, so hubby is on the way to the vets with them now!
