Need Help Identifing new cat

Right after thankgiving I got a new kitten/cat ... She is between 10-18 months ... She is losing the white patches she had and turning from a light orange with slightly darker stripes and circles.. She is now more of a red pattern... She is still growing<<<< This has me curious as to what breeds grow past age one??? any help greatly appreciated

I will try to get a picture ... two months ago she was about 8lbsand very compact in the body.. now she is about three inches higher than my ten lb yorkie and about 10lbs..highly active and talkative.. she has some tabbie type markings yet she has swirls and circles.. i call her white sploches with orange and red markings.. she has short but thick hair
