newbie from the UK

hi there, I've just discovered this site and I'm SO pleased there are so many others out there who love their kitties as much as I do! I wish I'd found you earlier cos I've always had cats as long as I can remember...could never be without them! But I've always had adult stray or rescue cats, and for the first time a friend gave me a kitten last March, so for the last few months I could have done with the advice! Anyway he's called Spike and he's now 10 months old and is a little darling and a monster all at the same time! Unfortunately I've also just lost my old friend Ringo, a ginger tom who was ten years old and was a very good friend to Spike for at least a few months.

Sorry about Ringo - its hard to lose a much loved pet after so long. Good luck with little Spike, enjoy the kittenhood it dont last long!
