I stepped on my glasses last night.
They were able to get them back together enough for me to wear them, but they are really scratched. So I broke down and ordered a new pair. Usually I get the antireflective lenses - and I did this time too, but I decided that I liked my husbands flex frames and his "transition" lenses (fade to dark in sunlinght, fade to clear when inside). The lenses had to be ordered, so I will have to put up with the "scratch and dent" pair for now.
Next week hopefully they will be in. Even with a partial discount for insurance, they were $411 !
They asked if I wanted a $30 insurance for scratches, etc. New lenses would cost me %10 the first year, 30% the second year. But there was so many if's and's or but's - I said no. I am wondering if I chose the right thing? Anyone have this coverage from Pearle Visions?
