I would really like to stop the wet food altogether, but I have heard from some of you that FF is BAD!
Humble only wants dry food, so I am ok with him, but I would like to try different food with Shenandoah. Is all wet food bad? Does anyone have ideas for me?
Thank you so mcuh! Bobbie

No, as far as i'm aware, wet food is preferred over dry for it's high protein content, dry is all carbs. I feed FF roasted turkey (only this type) to my marsh, and he's been doing great on it.

Hey Bobbie..not all Fancy Feast is bad! Some of the seafood flavors do not have the by-products and high concentration of carbs (wheat, soy and/or corn) that some of their other flavors have.

Canned food *is* good for your cats - it has a higher moisture content, and often, a lower carb amount that is better for your cats.

Here is an interesting article on the topic of canned food and dental health (the opinions on this are changing!):
article on canned cat food

Better brands of canned food would include petguard, felidae, innova, california natural chicken and rice, natural balance.

Grace LOVES pouches. She gets one as a treat per day but has to share it with Mac and Emma. Grace gets most of it. The other two are watching their weight. I've been picking up a box of Meow Mix pouches. There are no by-product on the ingredient list. The first ingredient in all the flavors is tuna. There's one variety that even has small shrimp in it.
