Beryl, thanks for the good vibes and the compliment (however undeserved!) I'm hoping I can get some photos which are as cute as yours of Ebony!Originally Posted by berylayn

Thank you, Carolcat. Sorry Penelope hasn't written lately to Jasper. She's just been a bit depressed about going to the bad place so often. She and her sister, Molly, still think he's mighty handsome!Originally Posted by carolcat
Prayers on the way for you and for Penelope. Hope she is better tomorrow and best wishes for the procedure on Monday. Hugs.

Penelope sends her love back to Ellie who definitely looks like her. Does Ellie have any tortie markings, too?Originally Posted by jennyranson

Thank you, Tricia. Jamie is a very handsome cat, by the way!Originally Posted by jcat
that Penelope's procedure goes well!
Well, that's certainly good to hear. I'll ask the vet about whether it could be a sinus condition. It would be great if we could clear all this up with an antibiotic but I'm anticipating it may be necessary to give her long term treatment with steroids. In any case, I just want her to get through the procedure safely tomorrow. I'm so anxious and scared. I feel like I won't be able to breathe until she's through with this and back home safe and sound.Originally Posted by lisalee
Penelope is a cute little girl!I hope everything goes ok, she will certainly be in my thoughts. Sash had chronic coughing for 2-3 years and had x-rays and was found to have mild asthma. I believe his was brought on by his chronic sinus condition which caused his daily coughing episodes because once he was given an antibiotic Zeniquin he completely stopped coughing. Good luck!
Thanks Pat & Alix! I really appreciate your support!Originally Posted by Pat & Alix
she came through her procedure well, now you will get some answers. Enjoy your evening with her back home

Colleen, we are sending super strong and lucky vibes to your gorgeous girl! Penelope has a deeply caring mama and we hope that the cytolab reports are all negative.
Thanks, Cheryl. How is your sister doing? I'm keeping my prayers going for her, too.Originally Posted by ccoccocats
Colleen, that is great news, so far! I'll keep those prayers goin. Stay positive!
Thanks, Amie. I'll just be glad to get a diagnosis so we can start treating her with the appropriate medications! I'll let you know what the report is when it comes in (probably not until Thursday, unfortunately).Originally Posted by Emma's Friend
So glad to hear that everything went smoothly today for you both. I'm sure the vet will have very encouraging news!
