I am sorry the news wasn't better, and will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this outcome of all your attempts to work out what was wrong. But you will always have her with you in your thoughts.

My sweet girl passed this morning about 9:15am. I got to hold her and stroke her as she went and I know in my heart she's in a better place.

I'm so sorry for your loss... you're right, she IS in a better place and you were a kind person for helping her get there.

I have been with you since I read this post and it's very hard for me to post here sometimes due to my losses. But being here for you right now is more important than my own past....and I am deeply sorry for your loss of your beloved Annalyssa. What a beautiful girl, and she would not have lived so long and had such a full life if it weren't for your love, don't you know. She spent so many years with you that her spirit will be a very strong presence, just over your shoulder. You will see her and feel her again and she no doubt understood you were there to send her to a place of peace and no pain.
Prayers to you,
Love,
Elizabeth

Several times yesterday I would just SWEAR I heard her meowing at me. Is this common?

My friend Emma swore she could feel her cat Bumper lying across her legs like he used to do in bed 2 days after he died, so i say yes it is common.

We told Emma to take it as a sign that Bumper had made it over the bridge because at the time she was worried that he wouldn't get there because Bumper had brain damage due to a car accident several years ago which caused him to get confused now and again
