Now I got a digital camera for x-mas and as you can tell by my sig, im not the best at taking pics

but i just took the cutest pic and I had to share it. It's a little dark because I left the flash off as it was too bright.

What kind of camera did you get? It just takes some practice to get good pictures. Look on your camera and see if there are different settings for the flash...usually low, normal, and high. Also, another trick for making the picture look good is to back way up from what you're photographing and zoom in. That way.....you don't get a big white flash in the face....you won't get the red-eye...and your picture will just look clearer and the lighting will be better.

If you don't have any of these features on your camera (flash settings, auto focus, auto exposure, and zoom) you can still use software such as Photoshop or Paint Shop to improve the quality of your pictures.

Here is your picture lightened up some but it's still very blurry. I sharpened it some....but if the photo is too blurry to begin with.....sharpening can often make it appear grainy. Another trick is to set your camera to a large photo size because that gives you more room to improve it in the software.

Keep at it.....you'll be taking fantastic pictures in no time!
