Hey everyone!

My name is Lastajia,I am 20, and I currently reside in South Dakota. I attend school here, majoring in Psychology, I also work full time as a Behavoral Healh Tech.

I live here along with my 2 dogs (Romeo & Bustar) and the Princess herself, Tinkerbelle.

I decided to join this forum, because I am a member of several dog forums, and decided that I need more help with my cat, considering I have never before owned a cat, and I never knew that a cat could have such a vivid personality! As far as cats go I am lost!

I read a few posts on this forum, and felt very comfortable, so I decided that this was the perfect place to start learning about the newest member of my family. So anyone who has tips or suggestions about anything from Upkeep, to basic health, to making Tinkerbelle happy, you are welcome to post them
.

Coolcat, Hey! Thank you, I am glad to be a member of such a caring forum, I found quite a few that were...actually pretty cruel. My name is Vietnamese, and it means "beautiful spirit".
Catch ya in the forums!

Babygirl, Hi! and thank you! Tinkerbelle sure is cute, and she knows it. How does having three beautiful kitties treat you?

Welcome to the site! Aw, Tinkerbelle is adorable!

I'm glad you like it here. I'm probably biased but I think we've got one of the best places on the internet. People here are so nice and real, always willing to help with advice or a kind word.

You know, if you just start browsing the Our Feline Companions forums, you will learn so much about Tinkerbelle. If you have any questions just post them. There are no dumb questions...we were all first time cat owners at one time or another.

Thank you all so much for the comments, I feel so welcomed!

pinkdaisy226, Thank you, she sure is a cutie, and she doesn't stop strutting for a second, funny you should mention that collar, a friend of mine hand makes them, and they turned out beautiful, you can't see, but it actually has her name in silver letters around it, I figured it would be to etravigant for a cat, but she just loves wearing it, and gets rather angry when I try to take it off. She always has a silver cat paw that says her name, address, and phone number on it, because I am always frightened of losing her, it was a really great investment, and costs a little under 15$.

valanhb, Thank you! I will start browsing right away, you are never to old to be trained right?

yayi, Thank you! She sure is, and she knows it. She's got all of my guest mesmerized, as well as me and my dogs.

Charcoal, Thank you!

Jalapeno, Thank you, and if you want to know about the collar, read above.

stormy, Thank you times 2.

dawnofsierra, thank you, and I will take you up on that the second I have any small question!

Seriously? I'm jealous... I have some collars for my Baylee and she HATES wearing them... I'm talking a serious struggle to get it on and then she tries to get it off herself! That's very cool that your friend made it... it looks gorgeous!
