Greetings all,

Wednesday, I gave birth to a 5.5 mm kidney stone. They had to go in and get it since it was imbedded in a ureter. Doing much, much better today. Plan to be back to work on Monday. Kinda boring at home. 80 TV channels and nothing on.

So, I guess what I am trying to say is I now sympathize with those women who have given birth and suffered through labor pains. I have good drugs though.

Take care,

NavDoc

Congratulations! Boy or girl? What is the name?

Ouch, they are painful! Glad you're on drugs...

LOL... I saw the title of this thread and all I could think of is that Arnold Schwarzenegger (or how ever you spell it) movie where he gets pregnant and gives birth. LOL LOL

No, seriously... That must have been painful. Hope you feel better soon!

My boss asked if it was a boy or a girl. So, I named it Timmy, after my boss. A real pain in the ass. He laughed. By-the-way, I have a great relationship with my boss since he is also Navy and has the same job I used to before I retired.

p.s. I Love Vicodin

Oh you poor thing.

My oldest daughter suffers with kidney stones as well. She's been in the hospital 3 times this past year, had 4 stones, and one surgically removed with a laser and then stent placement. Her largest one was obstructing the kidney completely and it became a medical emergency to get it out of there.

Her doc said she needs to drink more water and lay off the soft drinks. Of course, she's 21 and stupid.......so she still drinks cokes all day long.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

awww, I'm sure that was fun! lol, but just think about how much better you will start to feel

My whole family has issues with kidney stones (not my yet THANK GOD) but every time someone passes one we joke about "their baby" and sometimes depending on how bad or long the experience is they will get get welcome baby flowers and cards afterwards
