Shes gone.

After 6 weeks of caring for my beautiful Saffy after she was hit by a car, we finally had to put her to sleep yesterday. We had some very happy times in her last few weeks and we took each day as it came but unfortunately it wasnt meant to be. She was so young and Im heartbroken, I can hardly bear to be in the house. I love you Saffy and Im sorry that we couldnt have longer together.

I am so sorry this happened to both of you. Especially when they're young, it seems to be harder to understand.

Rest in peace Saffy and know that your Mommy gave you the best weeks of your life, as you did for her!

Thats very sad - cats usually come off worse when car v cat. You have been lucky to get the extra time to spend with your saffy, to show her how much she is loved. It is difficult at the moment I know but try to remember the happy days and weeks you had together.

Please know that Saffy is now playing happy and healthly at the Rainbow Bridge - she is no longer in any pain and is chasing the butterflys through the grass
She will remain there and watch over you until you meet again.
