Cheap source for flea collars (not for cats)?

I'm NOT going to use these on pets. We're looking to purchase a bunch of flea collars that will fit around the boot ankles for the troops in Iraq. The sand fleas are bad and the soldiers are asking for flea collars to help them out.

The least expensive one I found was at Petsedge for 95 cents each (will need a medium dog collar size). Does anyone know of other sources that may be even cheaper? We are going to buy a lot of them.

have you tried emailing the businesses to explain what you're doing and see if you can get a bulk discount? A lot of places would I bet.

Good idea about asking businesses to chip in!

Just contacted the local Humane Society and they have a bunch of collars that were donated to them that they don't use on the animals, so am giving to me to pass on to the troops. We're trying to get 300 collars. 50 down, 250 to go!
