As I was sitting here reading some of the threads I though I heard a couple low growls, the a few seconds later a hiss. I looked back to see what's going on and it's Chuckie still laying but looking around, I guess for whatever he was dreaming....Now I'll be worrying that he's getting sick because I've never seen him do that before.

I guess he's ok, I went over to pet him and then he went right to the food bowl!

Mine have done this as well very occasionally - I can recall 2 instances where one was growling in his sleep and woke himself up when he heard his own hiss. It was actually quite funny, because he jumped up and looked around at who was threatening him - and there was no one there. He and I were alone in the room. He had to sniff and search around to satisfy himself that he was 'safe':-) and I think he was confused about whether it really happened or not:-).

Living in the land of not enough time
Shalimar(RB) used to do that all the time. She would be sleeping in my lap, her whiskers would start twitching, then her legs and finally she'd growl, then jump up and look around. Or I'd call to her gently and wake her up. She usually woke with a start then.
