I was registered before the site went down, but only got around to reregistering recently. Nice to be back! I run a design studio and publishers (small but will grow we hope) and we do a lot of work with fantasy dressed animal pictures - made by using models and then digitally adding heads, paws etc. We mostly show cats - we are cat people (since birth in my case - my mum bred Siamese) - but we also now also introduce the odd mouse, gerbil or guinea-pig characters. No dogs as yet!

Our own cats? We have two, a tiny (!) Siberian, Lotte - she is beautiful but a bit of a princess - expects everything to be done for her and will only eat raw steak and growing wheat grass (seriously) and a very pragmatic European tabby, Minnie (who was mini when we got her but is now, er, somewhat less mini!) who is the head of our household.

Okay, that's probably most of the relevant information. I would LOVE to chat with anyone else who does cat artwork or cat photography, but in general, it's nice to just talk cat in any and every way!

Thank-you. We LOVE doing this work - it's like being able to do my perfect working day - especially we're doing the work with cats. Tomorrow we're photographing with a breeder who has 12 cats, nearly all different breeds (unusual, as you know, people mostly have only one or two breeds). Exciting!

I'll try to post some of the work - maybe work in progress is fun for people to see? But I have to work out the rules and if I can show graphics :-)

Hi, welcome and glad you made it. I like to make free cat signatures for people, but I just use photoshop not a camera. They send me the images instead of the cats. Cats just dont stay in the envelops very well and they tend to go postal.
Your work sounds very interesting though. I for one would love to see some pictures if they let you post them.
