Hi everyone..

Okay.. My kitty, Leo, is so silly and half human if you ask me..

he LOVES to sleep under the covers with me. He'll get up close to my body and stretch out like a person almost. His head will be right up close to my neck or he'll cover his head with his paws.. but he's always stretched out length wise against me! LOL Sometimes he takes up the whole bed! I dunno how such a little body could take up a double bed.. but he can.

I love him so much and it's just the cutiest thing ever.. I can't move him in the middle of the night.. even if I'm hot!

does anyone else have a kitty that does this?

How sweet!

Mr. Underfoot & Sylvestra used to sleep under the covers with me, before I got married (hubby is allergic to cats, & I found out I am too, so they're not allowed in the bedroom anymore
). Syl would sleep under the covers down by my side, & Mr. would sleep stretched out under the covers snuggled next to me, with his head on the pillow.

In the middle of the night, Oliver will jump on the bed and make a chirp sound. This means "Mommy, open the covers." I obey. He cuddles up next to my tummy. He doesn't stretch out very often. He usually curls up with his back touching me. I then adjust the covers so that ths little nose gets some air. It's so cute.

Jamie will come under the covers if it's really cold. This past week it has been bitter cold, and won't stop snowing. I've been wearing sweatsuits to bed to keep warm. Well, Jamie outdid himself the other night. When I tried to get out of bed Tuesday morning, I couldn't figure out why my leg was so heavy. (It was 5 a.m., and I can't think clearly at that hour.) He'd not only crawled under the covers in the wee hours, but also up my pant leg! He was literally wrapped around my calf.

I had a cat who not only slept under the covers, but settled himself down on the small of my back! He now lives with my brother and sister-in-law, and he still sleeps under the covers when it's cold.

My mom's cat like to sleep on the pillow, curled up at the top of my mom's head.

SIlly kitties!

Before I got my two Burmese I had only ever had cats that liked to sleep on top of the bed, but I was warned that Burmese prefer to get right in there with you. They certainly do and I have to keep pulling their heads out into fresh air again - I'm scared of them suffocating. When they're feeling mischevious instead of sleepy you have to keep very still or they attack any body part that happens to move.

The cutest thing ever though is going up and checking on the children before we turn in and finding one kitten snuggled in bed with each of them, with their little heads next to the children's on the pillow - all of them fast asleep. I must catch it on camera some day.

Our KC who is a scardy cat likes to do that a lot. Pokes and prods till she finds an opening or we lift the covers (usually the case) and she will curl up for awhile to get some under the covers lovin. Our new feline friend Buddy also likes to do that or at least has a few times. He has absoutly no trouble staying there for a long time either as long as noones kicking him or anything. I am not sure if hes just going through an adjustment phase or if its something he really likes to do. My concern is that KC and Buddy don't yet like each other and I would HATE to have my legs under the same covers they are meeting under.

I used to have one several years ago that would go all the way down inside the covers and come back up and stick his head out, my absloute favorite cat I Loved him so much, I had to put him to sleep about 4 months after my first husbad died, it was the hardest thing I ever did in my life, that was 10 years ago and I still miss him so very very much
My basset female does that to nut to her doggie bed, she broke the zipper and now she crawls down inside it and comes back up with her head, its like a sleeping bag to her lol

L.S. likes to sleep under the covers. He'll even crawl under the blanket if mom or I are covered up on the chair or couch. Otherwise, at night he'll worm his way underneath the quilt and I'll wake up to him rolling over looking like a little tramp.
(I cover my bed with a quilt during the day to keep hair and litter out of my sheets, and at night I pull it halfway down.)

Merlin won't sleep under the covers, but he does have to sleep next to me with his head on the extra pillow. (I have a full sized bed, thank heavens! or I wouldn't be able to get any sleep.) He's really wierd though, because he'll wake me up if the blankets aren't pulled back. See, he only likes to sleep on the fitted sheet.
We have nice little battles at night for the bed. He'll kick me in the back, or I'll roll over on him, or he'll snore, or I'll toss and turn too much for him. It got so bad that I put a basket in my room for him, and he'll usually stay there until morning, thankfully.

My baby Sui will sleep under the covers right between me and my husband. Sometimes I can't sleep because her little whiskers tickle and she likes to knead on me and that tickles too. I love to feel her little warm body between us, though
