Hi . . . Scooter and I are new here

Hello,

I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself and Scooter. I've had Scooter for 10 years and he's my best friend. He's a long-hair, black domestic cat (I'd post a picture but haven't figured out how to do that yet). My family and friends think I'm crazy for spoiling him the way I do, but why not . . . why shouldn't his life be anything but perfect!!!

Anyway, I found this site by chance because I'm trying to find out more about the seizures that he's having. Hopefully a blood test that he will get next Tuesday will tell me more.

Have a great day
Terry

Welcome to the site Terry!

I always say that if cats weren't meant to be spoiled, they wouldn't insist on it.

Hi! and welcome to TCS. I have a spoiled little Scooter, too. He's a 7 month old red tabby boy.

Hello Terry and Scooter! Welcome to The Cat Site ! Everyone here has been very friend and we're all so glad you've joined us!

Scooter should be spoiled rotten! All kitties should be

We'd love to see a photo of Scooter when you can.
Adding a photo is very easy.
First you need to have an account with photobucket.com
and then once you've uploaded photos to your photobucket account come back to a posting page and click on the icon that looks like a picture ( it looks like a mountain and a sun) Insert the HTML Code from the photobucket site and Taa Daaa

I hope that wasn't confusing. :3

*kisses Scooter* I hope he stops having scary seizures

Welcome to TCS! I hope you find out some encouraging news from the tests and wish you the best of luck.

To post an image it needs to be available somewhere on the internet. http://www.photobucket.com seems to be a common free place to host images that a lot of users here take advantage of. Once your image is up in your account there you can use the IMG tags to display your picture. PhotoBucket even shows the tags to paste in right under your image, very easy!!

Best of luck to you both!

Hi Terry and Scooter! Welcome to TCS. This is a pretty neat place, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I also hope that you get the seizure problems sorted out soon and well. Ask my babes about "spoiling" and they'll tell you it's only their due. I agree!

Here's Scooter sunbathing . . . one or his favorite past times. BYW, sorry that these are so big. How do I make them smaller?

Wow full size kitty!!!!!!!! Oh no youve stolen my Mischa!!!!!!!!!!!! scooter is the image of Mish.
I think you can make them smaller in photobucket - you reduce the pic and repost. Took me ages to do it properly - I think you have to shut it down and reopen and its smaller. someithing like that anyway. There are others here with loads of knowledge on that sort of thing.
Anyway welcome to TCS - hope Scooters tests come back okay

Dr Deb came to the house yesterday to take Scooter's blood test. I was so proud of him . . . he didn't cry or hiss once (like she said most cats do when she takes their blood). Anyway, Dr. Deb said to give the lab a day or two to do a full screening and hopefully I'll have his results on Friday. If the blood test come up negative that's a good thing regarding his health, but that means we still won't know what's causing the seizures.

Thanks for your warm thoughts.
