This may seem strange, I have 1 Orange tabby out of the 10 I rescued that I am keeping, he makes the weirdest noises, like beeping and weird little short meowing all the time, he's a pretty good chatter also, do those little sounds like a beeping meow
mean anything in cat language that anyone knows of or am I nuts?

I don't know what these noises mean, but if you find out, can you let me know? One of mine does it too! (I have always assumed they are play noises, but...)

I have a cat who talks. He does these low growls and it surely sounds like he's forming words. A few months back, as he was running madly chasing shadows (which he does quite often), we heard him say, "Hello?". It was even punctuated with the question mark!

Just the other night he was doing the run-mad thing again, and he said, "Why?". I'm not sure why Hammie can form words like that when the other cats just meow normal.

One of my cats (he's part Maine Coone)... Snickers... has a VERY high-pitched voice. Odd for a boy-cat. He sounds very 'female' when he mews & purrs and makes his begging noises. Not really 'beeps' or anything, but more like singing. He sings at night when he's bored and it is a really pretty sound!

Yes kinda sounds like that, but then he also make real short meow sounds I mean real fast to, especially if I play like peek a boo with him, when I look at him and then turn away and turn back, he gets this weird look in his eyes, plus kind of a beep beep sound lol, he's very entertaining.

Sounds like you have a happy and content kitty there!

As i say Rosie makes those noises as well and she gives quick meows!.

She makes chattering sounds as well like they do when their watching birds?!, and especially when she has her picture taken like this!.

That's so cute looks like she's singing, Yes I think he's a pretty happy
boy, he purrs so loud, well even when I found him in the parking lot I knew he wasn't like all the others I rescued he came out purring and meowning and rubbing all over me, and it was so windy he wouldn't even open his eyes, and he's a big boy to, he's about 7 or 8 mos old and he weighs almost 11 lbs he likes to
ALOT, I have tried putting the dry food up several timnes a day, maybe I shouldn't still be giving him kitten food maybe there's to much fat in that
Slim fast I guess, I am giving him Science diet, we had Imas, and puriena kitten chow to start. sometimes I wonder how they can be so picky, the others I have in the Enclouser are slightly Feral and they are very picky, well I assume there spoiled by now...

Rosie is so fussy it's unreal!. She won't eat fresh fish, chicken, or turkey and will only lick the jelly and gravy off the cheaper brand foods, so i have to buy the more expensive brands such as Petite Pate and Gourmet Gold which i don't mind because she eats it.

Sophie on the other hand is the complete opposite!, she'll eat anything but she gets the same as Rosie but now and again some fresh fish.

But yes you certainly have a happy cat ok!!

I think I know the sound you're referring to and when they do it it's in groups of 2 or 3 at a time, right? Well from what I've read in my library of cat books and behavior, etc. the sound they're making is saying.....HERE I AM! I'M HERE!

Try to take notice if it's when you first see her, or first enter into the room where she is or if she suddenly pops out in front of you. Let me know...

Yes I'd say thats pretty much it, because when also I will be on the computer and turn around where's he's laying on the floor and he'll pop up real quick and do it when I say Dunkin
Also he is facinated with fingers he can't wait to get them, he watches them so intensley, he will try and fool you to by rubbing his cheeks on the first then bite them, I do not like that biting at all, and sometimes he's pretty good if I just gentley grab the sides of his mouth and tell him no biteing, not sure if he understands but he won't bite then, make any sense to you?

I'm going to take the liberty of saying someone in your household or wherever you adopted Dunkin from has played games with him with their fingers. Try to say a firm, kinda loud, "NO!" when he does it. Just enough that he relates him doing that to something unpleasant so he eventually stops.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but I realy can't help it, when you said you gently grab the sides of his mouth.
Does he look like this when you do it?
Sorry, I'll stop laughing now.....no wait, I'll stop now. Ok.....now, oh well, nevermind!

well actually he squints a bit
but really I think it has helped by doing that and telling him no, I know its not easy to train a cat but I'll give it the good ole try, I forgot to say he's facinated with toes also
In other words don't wiggle any moving thingees

You're too funny.
I was gonna suggest to try having a toy in your pocket so the next time he goes to bite your fingers you can distract his attention by throwing the toy. It will also teach her to play with THAT and not your fingers!

O M Gosh you should have heard him this morning, little peeping, beeping all kinds of weird stuff
I kept asking him what's wrong Dunkin, he was sitting by his food bowl just going on and on, so I figured maybe he needed more food
I got up to get some picked up his bowl and it had ants in it, he was trying to tell me my food my food, plus he doesn't like sharing
Is he smart or what
he is soooooooo funny and so comical, I just
him, wouldn't trade him for nothin, he's just to much

Dunkin is the strangest cat I have ever had in my life, he makes so many sounds and purrs so loud, and he looks so lazy all the time, does anyone have one that makes all kinds of strange sounds? He's pretty smart comes when you call him, and at least he's not biting my fingers to much anymore
