Looking to See if anyone interested in starting a Cat Chat online

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone would be interested in a live cat chat. Was thinking maybe once a week if people were interested could chat live, like on aol instant messenger or even msn or yahoo, I am not sure if you can create chat rooms there, but I know you can on aol. Just thought it might be nice to talk to some people live. If you are interested let me know I can always get a list started, just let me know what messenger service you use. Let me know your thoughts and hope you all have a great day tomorrow.

I believe this was tried once recently by Cougar and it couldn't be done due to everyone's time zone difference, and then what nights were good for some, weren't good for others, and who had Yahoo, or AOL, or AIM, and so on.

It would be interesting though!

Maybe... my info's in my profile so you can add me to the list if you'd like. I'm such a fluke as to when I'm online though, so good luck getting me! But we could try it a few times... see how it goes!

I'm always up for a chat. I am usually online from 9:30pm to about 4:00am EST. I'm on yahoo as rev_sylent_rayne

I would love to! It's true I did try a while ago, but I couldn't organize everyones schedules. Too much variety in the location of our members.

I wish we could have a chat chat room with MIRC..... That would be cool but im up for it.Wether it be Yahoo or MSN etc.. I am a night owl so I am usually on at night .

Thanks for the imput. Here is another idea (I must be full of them today). What I can try and see if it works is the day before I plan the chat I can post it here on the boards with all the info etc. It looks like aol is the only one you can set a chatroom up in as far as I know, (so some people may have to download the aol instant messenger service, which is free to download.). Let me know what you think of this thought.

Edit: Itrant, Yahoo lets you setup a public room. Plus it's an awesome messenger

AOL Instant Messenger - S/N is same as here: ccoccocats

Ok, I realy need to get out more.....what does "bots" mean? I can't believe you're MY teacher!!!!

I am interested. Of course scheduling may be tricky but even if only a few people make it to the chat it would be fun. I am on msn messenger, and do not want to download anything having to do with aol into my computer for any reason, but I also have heard that you can set up a yahoo chat room free, although I do not know how, myself. Also, if we were all in msn messenger we can "invite" each other into the chat and it works the same as a chat room. We could give it a try....
